Today, people tell everyone in the world on Facebook hoping that they get a RESPONSE as it makes them feelwanted and loved by others. These comments or responses drive people to tell the world more.
Network Security systems are also contradicting their existence by selling info to companies. And blocking and monitoring school net makes students believe that privacy is a bad thing, and makes them used to making everything public.
When people receive feedback a period of time later after the attempt, people loose interest in what they did. Therefore feedback must be as close as possible to the attempt as possible. Because people want to do better immediately. Games are popular because the result of your actions is shown to you as you play.

My classes this year are:
My worst subject would be English, but I aim to do well in it, and I would like to get a B.
And in ITE I would like to aim for an A*.
In Physics, an A.
In Chemistry, an A, but that will require some work.
And in Technology an A*
And in French AS, I want to achieve an A*. And in A2 french an A.
- IGCSE English with Mr Walker
- IGCSE Maths with Mr Bairstow
- IGCSE ITE with Mr Wells
- IGCSE Physics with Mr Chieng
- IGCSE Chemistry with Mr Southern
- IGCSE Technology with Mr Russ
- AS French with Mr Simperingham
- A2 French with Mr Curnow

Powerpoint
- When designing the master slide. If one uses the master slide's text boxes, it will only remember font, colour and other formats. But if one wants there to be content exactly the same on every slide, he must manually add a text box and place content in there, including a continous title, page number, ...etc.

One of today's lessons
Today in Chemistry I learnt about Ionic, Covalent and Metallic bonds. Basically in Ionic bonds, atoms gain or lose electrons to become stable. In Covalent bonds, atoms share electrons to become stable. And we, being the class, didn't manage to go into detail about Metallic bonds. We also looked at the shapes of molecules, which is a bit complicated. We notably looked at the molecules of Hydrocarbon, Water, Hydrogen Chloride, ...etc.
I wouldn't say Chemistry is my favorite subject in the world, but it is the one I learnt the most today.

Spreadsheets (Excel)
- import: csv (comma separated value file) (known as standardised format for all computers, can be read by all computers) (when opening in an exam, save as excel workbook)
- Absolute and relative references (Absolute means it will absolutely always refer to that cell) (relative means it change if a formula is copied and pasted dependant on where it has been pasted) (use '$' sign to make a reference absolute)
- Named cells, named ranges (A named cell is an automatic absolute reference) (Named ranges is naming a cell) (This makes reading formulae easier)
- sum, average, maximum, minimum, integer, rounding, counting, if, lookup
- perform searches using AND, OR, NOT, LIKE (cuts down searches like search engine "Google")
- perform search using wildcard (wildcard is a *) (It broadens searches)
